If this is to be Tottenham’s final season at White Hart Lane, Mauricio Pochettino’s men are making sure that they will leave with plenty of happy memories of the old place.

Spurs have been stunning at the venue so far this season; indeed, the north Londoners extended their unbeaten run at The Lane to 20 matches in all competitions by walloping Watford last weekend.

That Spurs’ only “home” defeats this season have come at Wembley in European competition tells a story – and it does not make good reading for Bournemouth ahead of their trip to take on Spurs on Saturday afternoon.

Cherries face tricky task

The Cherries have claimed three successive draws on the road in the Premier League, at Old Trafford, St Mary’s and Anfield respectively, but Eddie Howe’s side could well struggle to take a share of the spoils on this occasion.

Bournemouth are winless away from home in 2017 and their record on the road is, in truth, pretty poor.

The Cherries have won just two games on the road in the Premier League this season – a record that contrasts sharply with Spurs’ sublime home record of 14 wins from 16 Premier League games – and 14 consecutive home wins in domestic competitions.

Bournemouth will take some solace from the memory of a goalless draw at Vitality Stadium when these teams last met, but stopping Spurs from scoring looks to be a hugely daunting task on this occasion.

Spurs primed for goals

The north Londoners have notched at least three times in all but one of their last five home games and, having hammered four past Watford, Pochettino’s men look primed for more goals.

Harry Kane, who marked his return from injury with an appearance from the substitutes’ bench last weekend, looks likely to return to the starting line-up, but with Son, Alli and Eriksen all more than capable of making their mark, the visitors have much more than the England striker to worry about.

Bournemouth may well be battered at White Hart Lane on Saturday as Spurs look to turn the screw on Chelsea ahead of the Blues’ visit to Old Trafford on Easter Sunday and the 19/20 (BetStars) quote for the hosts to score more than twice may offer decent value for punters ahead of this crucial clash.
