ITALIAN academic Marco Di Cosmo (@Scioltz) has three bets lined up for Sunday’s Serie A action.
Inter Milan v Genoa | Sunday 11.30 | BT Sport 1
With both Juan Jesus and Andrea Ranocchia susepdned for Sunday, Roberto Mancini is no doubt still wondering who or what defensive system he can play at the San Siro. With Yuto Nagatomo away on Asian Cup duty, Inter could be vulnerable at the back.
Despite missing Argentine international Diego Perotti I’m sure Genoa can take some advantage. Inter have leaked in five of their six games since Mancini returned and I can’t imagine that’ll change on Sunday.
I’m obviously expecting the Neroazzurri to fire as well with such a good attacking side. Mauro Icardi and the new additions of Xherdan Shaquiri and Lucas Podolski mean the hosts should ensure this match features Both Teams To Score at 21/20 with William Hill.
Atalanta v Chievo | Sunday 14.00
Atalanta have always built their fortunes on home soil, gaining the points they need to avoid relegation and often beating even the bigger teams in the league. This season they are suffering though. Just four points off the relegation zone and unable to recapture their form of old when playing in front of their home fans.
Goalscoring has been a big issue – just five goals have been scored in 13 games. Atalanta have brought in Mauricio Pinilla on loan to try and solve their goalscoring problems but defensively all is not well, either. They’ve leaked 10 in their last four.
Luckily for the hosts, on Sunday they take on the worst attacking side in Serie A. Chievo have only scored 12 goals all season and if Atalanta are to avoid the drop, they simply must win this. I’m pretty confident they will an happy to chance them at 23/20 with William Hill.
Fiorentina v Palermo | Sunday 14.00
What I’ve said about Inter earlier, well you can just copy and paste it for Fiorentina. The Viola are going to be without Gonzalo Rodriguez and Stefan Savic, both suspended, for this match.
That’s a tough test when you have to face Palermo, especially if they will line up with Paulo Dybala and Franco Vazquez in attack. The duo is in tremendous form this season, scoring goals for fun with a superb understanding between them.
Palermo are absolutely flying at the moment and if they might be still not reliable to take maximum points away from the Artemio Franchi, I’m sure they can be trusted to at least score a goal in the match. That is why the odds on Palermo simply to score appeal.
Backing William Hill’s 3/4 that the visitors to score before the 75th minute is perhaps the best value bet when considering a Palermo goal.
