Serie A: Milan can take top honours in high-scoring encounter

OUR man in Italy, Marco Di Cosmo (@scioltz) looks to continue his hot streak in Serie A with his best Saturday selections.

Torino v Udinese | Sunday 11:30 | BT Sport

Usually the focus is on goals when Torino are involved as their last eight games finished with both teams scoring.

This time I like their chances to win against an Udinese side who have little to ask from their season, plus some key absence such as Cyril Thereau who is surely one of their best players.

The two sides are separated by just four points but the Granata at home have proved a remarkable record, especially in terms of scoring where they have an average of 2.5 goals per-game.

That’s why my bet will go on team goals and Torino to score Over 1.5 Goals (7/10 Coral).

Fiorentina v Bologna | Sunday 14:00

Fiorentina have played such an anonymous season with only some remarkable sparks, such as the victory against Juventus, but their glory have finished pretty soon both in Europe and in domestic action.

They sits in eighth place, seven points behind an Europe League spot, without many chances to reach it. Despite that, I do not think they will be reluctant at least to try, and I think a victory against a very weak Bologna side is on their cards.

I will try to push it on team goals as well, confiding in the visitors dodgy defence so Fiorentina to score Over 1.5 Goals is 4/6 (Boylesports).

Genoa v Atalanta | Sunday 14:00

If Genoa were a very tough team to beat on their ground, their recent trend has not been confirming their previous performances when they were able to beat even Juventus.

Sunday’s match should provide some real interest with Atalanta fighting for a place in the top-five and in desperate need for a win.

Gian Piero Gasperini’s travellers won’t be waiting around and I expect them to go straight for the win from the start. They have a superb away record, where they usually find the net easily.

On the other hand, Genoa won’t be harmless having the capacity to be dangerous on the opposition’s goal. That’s why backing Both Teams To Score should be an interesting option here at 4/5 (888).

Palermo v Cagliari | Sunday 14:00

Another team who have urgency to win is Palermo, who are instead desperate to find some points to avoid relegation.

Their battle is kept alive by Empoli, who do not win a single match since January, leaving some possibilities to catch them.

The Sicilians are not performing much better though, but it is a win or go home situation here. A victory would put them only four points behind Empoli, opening a complete new season until May.

That’s why I think they will be determined to win, but since I do not trust their defence at all, I will back a match of goals also here. Over 2.5 Goals is 22/23 (188BET).

Pescara v Milan | Sunday 14:00 | BT Sport

Milan should have no worries in beating a Pescara side, who have proved to be not really credible to avoid Serie B again.

Change in management have only proved profit for us punters, as Overs and goals have been delivered in almost 100% of their recent games. I think we’ll have another one here, with Milan’s attackers exposing Pescara’s defensive concerns.

I will add an away win to reach very interesting odds so Milan to win and Over 2.5 Goals at 21/20 (BetStars) is the bet.
