Serie A – Juventus and Napoli to continue Serie A dominace

Gonzala-Higuain - Juventus

OUR man in Italy, Marco Di Cosmo (@scioltz) looks to continue his hot streak in Serie A with his best picks for Sunday’s matches.

Atalanta v Chievo | Sunday 4th February 2018, 14:00

Atalanta’s aren’t priced correctly for me, I believe the bookmakers are giving too much to the hosts. Whilst the home side may very well win, even without Papu Gomez, I think there could be room for a bet on the visitors. My money will be going on Chievo to score a goal as Atalanta have conceded in 8/11 of their home matches and I fancy this trend to continue.

Bologna v Fiorentina | Sunday 4th February 2018, 14:00

Bologna and Fiorentina should provide fun at Dall’Ara. The home side have had some exciting matches at their home ground, where their defensive ability is still a concern with 17 goals conceded in 11 games.

Fiorentina seem to have found their rhythm after their heavy transfer window during the summer, and they are used to open matches especially away from Florence therefore I fancy goals in this one.

Udinese v AC Milan | Sunday 4th February 2018, 14:00 | BT Sport

Milan have found a new lease of life in recent performances by defeating Lazio, even with fortunes favouring the capital club. Traveling to Udinese won’t be that easy, I am backing them to find the net but also to concede, with the hosts able to register with regularity at home.

Cagliari v SPAL | Sunday 4th February 2018, 14:00

Cagliari and SPAL are in a similar league positions, being separated by just 4 points. The home side should be favourites in this one but I’m not picking a winner from here because it’s just too close.

I see better chances in backing both teams to find the net, with Cagliari conceding almost 2 goals per game at home and SPAL improving a lot also in away matches.

Juventus v Sassuolo | Sunday 4th February 2018, 14:00 | BT Sport

Juve should have any problems in getting a win against Sassuolo. The visitors are nowhere near to last season’s capability and the Old Lady are unstoppable at the Juventus Stadium but the price on the straight win isn’t too inviting.

This time I will addover 2.5 Goals to their match to the betting to enhance the odds. Whilst this hasn’t not happened in the last 3 encounters, I am confident they will score easily and we could see a large winning margarin here.

Benevento v Napoli | Sunday 4th February 2018, 19:45 | BT Sport

Lastly, Napoli should have no problems seeing off Benevento as the relegation candidates host the side from Naples. Back the visitors to cruise to victory with goals aplenty, something similar to what happened when these sides met some months ago (6-0). Napoli will continue their run for the Scudetto and cannot lose points here.
