OUR man in Rome and resident Serie A expert Marco Di Cosmo (@scioltz) shares his best bets from Sunday’s action.
Roma v Sampdoria | Sunday 11th November | 14:00
Roma have inverted their trend this season, being less reliable on the defensive end and much more exposed to counter attacks.
If their solidity is really lacking with eight goals conceded in just five home games, they score an average of 2.4 goals per game, which is much more compared to last season.
Since they will be missing key defensive midfielder Daniele De Rossi I’m extremely confident Sampdoria will score at the Olimpico, as happened in last four serie A meetings between the two.
Sassuolo v Lazio | Sunday 11th November | 17:00
A very interesting match between Sassuolo and Lazio in the afternoon. The Biancocelesti are playing another great season, at least on the same level as last year and this is something remarkable when you think they have sold Felipe Anderson to West Ham and their main star Sergej Milinkovic Savic not playing at his top form.
Sassuolo’s De Zerbi is always a joy to watch and goals are guaranteed when they are involved. Especially at home, they are the fourth attack of the league, while also having the third worst defensive record with 10 goals conceded in five games.
Milan v Juventus | Sunday 11th November | 19:30
This is my banker of the day. Juventus will travel to Milan, with the Rossoneri extremely damaged by injuries and fatigue.
AC have played on Thursday against Betis in the Europe League, and moreover they are missing two central defenders, replaced by Colombian international Cristian Zapata, who is far from being a reliable defender.
I guess Cristiano Ronaldo and Juventus attackers will run riot against a weakened side, which is also missing Lucas Biglia, Hakan Chalanoglu and Jack Bonaventura.
