Scottish Football: Two cup ties to follow for goals, says Mr Fixit

DAILY RECORD star Mr Fixit (@mrfixittps) shares his best bets from Saturday’s Scottish Cup action.

St Mirren v Dundee United | Saturday 9th February 2019, 15:00

Dundee United will fancy their chances at St Mirren having signed 11 players in the transfer window. It will take time for them to settle in but there were positive signs in last week’s victory against Morton.

One of United’s best captures was Cammy Smith from St Mirren and he’ll be keen to remind Oran Kearney what he can do.

Saints overcame a banana skin in the last round of the Scottish Cup when their 10 men came back from 2-0 down to beat Alloa. But they are back on the basement after losing at home to Motherwell in midweek and could struggle against a rejuvenated United.

Saints’ last six games have all gone Over 2.5 Goals and I like same again at 17/20 with Marathon.

Hibs v Raith | Saturday 9th February 2019, 15:00

League One promotion chasers Raith will be out to enjoy their trip to Hibs but haven’t won in seven visits to Easter Road.

Hibs will edge it but 6/5 at William Hill for both scoring looks good with managerless-Hibs leaking goals and Raith having netted in 20 games running.

Best Bets

St Mirren v Dundee United – Over 2.5 Goals (17/20 Marathon)

Hibs v Raith – Both Teams To Score (6/5 William Hill)
