TWO games in the Scottish Premiership on Tuesday. One of them has caught the eye of Chris Graham (@chrisgraham79).

Ross County v St Johnstone | Tuesday 19:45

Ok Celtic are going to win the league fairly comfortably again, but I think this has been a great season in Scotland’s top-flight. Hamilton’s amazing first half of the season, Aberdeen’s lengthy title challenge and now the fireworks at the bottom of the table.

For most of the season the relegation battle has been between three sides, Motherwell, Ross County and St Mirren. Over the last few weeks the first two have discovered some real form and left St Mirren seven points adrift and in deep trouble.

Of the two it’s Ross County who’ve been the most impressive. Jim McIntrye’s side are unbeaten in seven and amazingly won six of those games. Perhaps their finest result came on Saturday when they won at Tannadice 2-1 against a struggling Dundee United side. The Staggies sit top of the form table and look underrated at 7/4 in this game.

St Johnstone look strong enough to finish in the top six this season. After a sloppy start (Scottish Cup hangover?) Tommy Wright’s men have lost just five of their last 21 matches and have beaten Celtic and drawn with Aberdeen already this calendar year.

I’m happy to back Both Teams To Score in this match when I see Coral quoting Evens. Ross have won four in a row at home while St Johnstone have lost just one in six in the league, and a win here would assure them of a Top 6 finish. Both sides will be feeling very positive and for me it’s a value bet.
