My selection this weekend comes from the Ladbrokes Championship, Ayr will be looking for another three points as the chase promotion away to QOS.
Ayr have been the surprise package in the championship this season after winning league one last season. They currently sit in 2nd place one point off the top with a game in hand on top spot.
The final game of 2018 could signal the final game of top marksman Lawrence Shankland Ayr career with a host of big clubs chasing his signature. He’s scored 44 goals in his 46 league games over the last two seasons.
QOS have their own marksman in Stephen Dobbie how has scored 15 goals himself this season but have found life tough without the injured hitman in recent weeks.
Queens haven’t won any of the three games he’s missed scoring just once in those games, a run which has seen them fallout he top four.
I expect Shankland to fire Ayr to another three points and Ayr fans will hope that it’s not the last they see of their favourite player.
