Scottish Football: Poor travellers to fall short in the capital, says Dino Vita

PRO PUNTER Dino Vita (@VitaDino) shares his Scottish NAP from Saturday’s action. His latest selection arrives from the Scottish Premiership.

Hibs v Livingston | Saturday 21st February 2020, 15:00

My selection this weekend comes from the Scottish Premiership as sixth-placed Hibs host fifth-placed Livingston.

Hibs looked to be having a tough season back when Jack Ross was appointed in November but since then it’s only been an upward spiral for his side. A win on Saturday would move the Hibees above their guests and give the group a real chance of closing the gap on third.

Ross’s men have only tasted defeat once in 2020 and have won their last three.

Livi have had an excellent season but have relied heavily on their home form where they play on an all-weather pitch. Livi don’t travel well and don’t like grass either – they’ve only won two of their 13 away league games this season, one of those victories also came on an artificial surface.

Hibs’ home form has been impressive, only losing once at home since Ross took over and the hosts will hope to use the grass to their advantage.

Best Bets
