The big guns return to action this weekend and there’s no doubt what’s the standout Scottish Cup tie.
Rangers v Motherwell has been picked for TV at lunchtime and both sides of course will refreshed after their winter break, although Gers suffered a 4-0 spanking at RB Leipzig on Sunday.
Gers had won five in a row at home before losing to Celtic so will fancy themselves against a Motherwell side who’ve won just once in seven and are struggling to keep clean sheets.
Well have lost twice to Mark Warburton’s men this season and their only Ibrox victory in 10 was the famous play-off success.
With hitmen such as Scott McDonald and Louis Moult the Steelmen could strike so best bet is Rangers to win and Over 2.5 match goals at 10/11 with Betway.
Ross County v Dundee United | Saturday 15:00
Another top tie is United’s trip to the Highlands and there could be a shock.
County have lost three in a row while Championship title chasers United have won on four of their last six visits to Dingwall.
The Tangerines have fallen four points behind Hibs after a winless run of three and a cup distraction may have came at the right time.
But rather than trying to pick a winner I’m happy to go with goals in what should be an open, attack-minded affair.
Over 2.5 goals has landed in three of the last four games for both County and United and that’s the shout here at 17/20 with Marathon.
Alloa v Dunfermline | Saturday 15:00
Dunfermline are in great form in the Championship and can progress at the expense of League One Alloa.
The Pars head into the tie on a nine-game unbeaten run – including five victories – while the Wasps’ title challenge has wobbled a league below with two defeats in four.
