My selection this week comes from Friday night’s Scottish Premiership clash as Dundee host Aberdeen.
The Dons haven’t had a great few weeks; they’ve won one of their last five games and back-to-back defeats to Rangers have damped the mood, a situation made worse when the Glasgow giants came calling for their manager Derek McInnes in midweek.
Aberdeen look to have won that battle with McInnes announcing he’s staying but he has missed a few days training which won’t help matters on the pitch. Dundee have turned their season around in recent weeks winning consecutive games for the first time this season.
Neil McCann’s men will fancy taking something off Aberdeen with the unrest this week, so I’m looking at the Over 2.5 Goals market.
Both sides have seen 10/16 (63%) league games feature three goals or more and in recent weeks Aberdeen have seen six of their last seven produce Over 2.5 Goals (99/100 Marathon) winners with the Dons failing to keep a clean sheet in any of their last seven.
