My selection this weekend comes from the Scottish Championship as Ayr travel to Alloa looking to continue their good start to the season.
Ayr have taken their return to the Championship like a duck to water, sitting in third place, just one point off the top.
Ian McCall’s men have only lost once in their opening 10 league and cup games, having won all four of their League Cup group-stage ties, as well as their second round clash, a 3-0 away win at Premiership Dundee.
Alloa finished third in League One last season, 16 points behind champions Ayr. The Wasps have found life tougher and are yet to win any of there opening five fixtures at this level, although they have drawn their last three.
The hosts will be hoping their artificial pitch will be a leveller but I think Ayr should have more than enough to continue their good start to the season and are worth supporting at 6/5 (Unibet).
