I’m going goal-chasing again this weekend with the Scottish Championship clash between Falkirk and Hibs hopefully completing a memorable 2016!
Falkirk and Hibernian don’t like each other –plain and simple. It’s a feud that’s stretched back to early last season and since then Peter Houston’s hosts have been a bit of a bogey side to Hibs.
The Bairns pipped Hibs to second-place last season before beating them in the play-off semi-final with a last-minute winner.
There hasn’t been much between the sides in recent matches with five of their last seven meetings all ending in draws. But most notable is the penchant for Both Teams To Score – all seven encounters have banked in the BTTS market.
Hibs have the best defence in the league this season but Falkirk have scored against them in both fixtures already this campaign.
Indeed, Falkirk have seen six of their last seven league fixtures all produce BTTS with each of Hibs’ last two matches following suit.
I’ll back Both Teams To Score to deliver once more at 19/20 (888).
