DAILY RECORD star Mr Fixit (@mrfixittps) shares his best bet from Wednesday night’s Scottish Premiership action.
Hearts v Hibs | Wednesday 31st October 2018, 19:45 | BT Sport
Hibs’ record at Tynecastle is poor but on Wednesday they have a chance to rectify it. Neil Lennon’s men haven’t won in nine away to Hearts although four have been draws.
With the Premiership leaders losing top scorer Steven Naismith to injury in the League Cup semi – as well as hitman Uche Ikpeazu long term – the goals could dry up.
Naisy went off early against Celtic and the Jambos looked powderpuff. Steven MacLean is available but could be banned after the Hibs game for grabbing Eboue Kouassi by the privates in the Murrayfield semi.
Hibs are 15/8 at Betfred but considering their record, it could be safer to go Hibs draw no bet at 11/10 with Paddy Power.
Hearts, who have only dropped two points in five at home, are favourites at 6/4 with Ladbrokes, while the draw pays 12/5. F
our of the last six meetings have gone Under 2.5 Goals and only one of 12 Over 3.5 so don’t expect a goalfest. Under 2.5 is possible at 4/5 with Marathon.
Rangers v Kilmarnock | Wednesday 31st October 2018, 19:45
Rangers will be hurting after their League Cup exit to Aberdeen but have Alfredo Morelos and Kyle Lafferty available after Umar Sadiq failed to take his chance at Hampden.
Steven Gerrard’s men have a 100% record at Ibrox and a 14-2 goal difference, and while Killie arrive in good form and sitting second, I’m on the home at 1/2 with Ladbrokes.
Killie will make it tough and could contribute to the scoreboard so consider Gers and both to score at 21/10 with Ladbrokes.
Morelos will be back in the starting line-up and owes his manager a goal. The Colombian is 4/1 at Betfred to score first and 5/4 to net.
Dundee v Celtic | Wednesday 31st October 2018, 19:45 | BT Sport
Celtic have a gimme at bottom dogs Dundee but there’s little value so try Celtic -2 Asian Handicap (stake back if they win by two) at 41/40 with Bet365.
Even the straight -2 at 6-4 should land as Dundee have lost 4-0 and 3-0 under new boss Jim McIntyre, while Celtic’s last road trip resulted in a 6-0 victory at St Johnstone.
Livingston v St Johnstone | Wednesday 31st October 2018, 19:45
Elsewhere, Livingston should beat St Johnstone and are a best 13/10 with BoyleSports.
Aberdeen can edge out Hamilton but are short at 4/9 with Sky Bet and St Mirren v Motherwell looks a draw, although if the away was better than 6/5 with Bet365 I might consider it.
