My selection this weekend comes from Scotland’s League Two as promotion chasing Annan travel to Berwick looking to continue their fine start to the season.
Annan have taken seven points from their opening three league games. In between wins against Cowdenbeath and Queen’s Park, they hammered Celtic Colts 4-0 in the Challenge Cup.
On the other hand, it looks like Berwick could be in for a long campaign – after beating Stirling 1-0 on the opening day of the season, they’ve lost three on the bounce. Last weekend, they were thumped 4-0 at Cowdenbeath – a side that finished below them last season.
Alarmingly, Berwick have lost seven of eight games so far this season, scoring just once.
These sides met in the Betfred Cup a few weeks back, and Annan won 4-0. Annan were at home that day, but I think they will have to much for this struggling Berwick side and so we can back a repeat at 23/20 (Bet Victor)
