My selection this weekend comes from the Scottish Championship as Dunfermline travel west to face Dumbarton.
The Pars have started the season in fine form, W2-D1-L0 of their opening three league games. The visitors have scored eight goals in their last two victories against Inverness and Falkirk.
Allan Johnston’s men will have hopes of a play-off place at the very least this season and have the firepower to blow teams away in the process.
Meanwhile, Dumbarton have had a tough start, picking up just two points from a possible nine. More worryingly, they’ve only scored once thus far.
The Sons have punched above their weight to keep their Championship status in the past few campaigns and will hope to prove the doubters wrong again this term.
But I’m backing Dunfermline to continue their good start to the season by taking all three points from a struggling Dumbarton.at 51/50 (Marathon).
