Salford succumbed to two late tries and as a result surrendered a 16–12 lead to lose last weekend at Widnes Vikings. That defeat was their fifth of the season and third in their last four outings.
Despite the poor form on paper, the Red Devils do have some notable scalps on their resume with victories over both of the Hull sides this term.
Catalans season continues to go from bad to worse. Bottom of the Super League with only a solitary victory over Hull KR to shout about, things look bleak in Perpignan.
