Profit & Loss League Tables | 8th December 2014

FIND out which teams have yielded the highest profit and which are the ones to avoid with our handy Profit & Loss tables…

Premier League

A 16/5 win for Stoke on Saturday against Arsenal has saw Mark Hughes’s side extend their lead at the top of the P&L table. There’s a welcome return to the Top 3 for Aston Villa after they pick up two odds-against wins since our last update.

Worrying times for Everton as they move into the bottom three of the table for the first time this season after two non-wins since last week’s update. Only Sunderland and Hull have a worse figure than the Merseyside club.

Championship

Brentford stay top for the third week running despite a weekend defeat at odds of 19/10. Ipswich move up to No.2 after a 17/20 win against Leeds.

Bottom side Blackpool stay bottom despite beating Birmingham at odds of 2/1. Lee Clark’s side are now just £7.50 worse off than 23rd place Brighton.

League One

With the FA Cup 2nd Round on this weekend, there has been little again in the third tier. MK Dons move up to No.4 after a midweek win over Sheffield United.

League Two

Just one game since our last update due to the FA Cup 2nd Round. Burton’s failure to land odds of 15/8 against Exeter has pushed them to down to No.5.

SPFL Premiership

Another win for No.2 side Inverness during the weekend pushes them to within (just shy of) £46 of leaders Hamilton. Aberdeen replace Dundee at No.5 after sinking leaders Hamilton at odds of 5/6.

No change at the bottom, with the four sides in the lowest positions all failing to record weekend victories.

SFL Championship

Hearts are now an astonishing £98.33 clear in the Championship after obliging at 8/15 against Queen Of The South. The Dumfries side and Hibs are the only other teams in profit in the second tier.

Bottom side Livingston get closer to the pack after an incredible 100/30 win at Raith on Saturday.

SFL League One

Morton come back to the pack in League One after failing to oblige at odds of 6/4 against Stranraer.

Stirling Albion’s miserable season continues and they’re now £67 adrift at the bottom of the table.

SFL League Two

The big guns of League Two all enjoyed weekend wins at short odds so the table has seen minimal movement. Montrose move up to No.5 after beating Berwick midweek.

La Liga

Cordoba made the biggest splash in Spain, ending their winless run with a stunning 8/1 success at Athletic Bilbao to lift them from rock bottom up to 17th in our P&L table.

Despite successive defeats, Celta remain almost £100 clear of the chasing pack whilst Barcelona continue to return a negative margin.

Bundesliga

Eintracht Frankfurt continue to close the gap on table-topping Hannover thanks to back-to-back victories whilst Augsburg and Schalke have both made heady progress in the past fortnight to break the top-four.

Dortmund remain rooted to the foot of the table but have closed the gap on closer rivals Freiburg whilst Bayern Munich remain in negative figures despite winning 79% of their league games.

Serie A

Genoa continue to upset the odds. Their 11/5 victory over Milan keeps them well clear of their Serie A rivals. But Udinese’s 7/1 win at Inter means the Zebras leap into second.

Only six clubs can boast a positive margin figure with Inter perhaps the most disappointing – Roberto Mancini’s men are way down in 17th having won only 29% of their league fixtures.

Ligue 1

Ligue 1 has seen three match days since we last updated our table but the top-three remain unchanged. Nice’s 3/1 win at Caen has put daylight between them and Lorient and Marseille.

France is the destination for a value bet – 13 clubs are in the green but PSG continue to struggle in the P&L table, down in 16th.
