Premier League

West Ham’s huge away successes at Manchester City and Liverpool have kept the Hammers comfortably at the top of the tree despite dropping points last time out.

Crystal Palace remain in hot pursuit and have been consistent profitable under Alan Pardew’s watch. Southampton’s 17/4 win at Chelsea has propelled the Saints into the top-six for the first time this season.

Championship

Brighton were held to a draw at the weekend but keep hold of their position as the Championship’s best team to bet on in 2015/16. Birmingham are hot on their heels however, thanks to their victory at 9/4 at Leeds.

Hot pre-season favourites Derby bagged their first home win on Saturday but remain in the red.

League One

Newly-promoted Burton have taken the third tier by storm and their 11 League One fixtures have returned three-figure profit figures. The Brewers are a full £30 clear following their win over Southend on Saturday.

Fellow promoted club Bury are up to second as they overcame Colchester away whilst Bradford’s 9/4 win on the road at Rochdale brings the Bantams clear of the bottom-six. Oldham are by far the worst team to punt in League One.

League Two

It’s tight at the top. Plymouth’s home victory at 4/6 over Crawley consolidated the Pilgrims position in first but Carlisle are closing in fast – Keith Curle’s men were 11/5 winners at Stevenage and are in a season-high second just pennies behind Plymouth.

Terry Butcher may have been axed but Newport’s woes continue in the P&L table whilst Portsmouth are only just in the green after a dreadful home draw with Yeovil.
