Premier League
It’s a ninth consecutive week at the top for Stoke but West Ham have moved into the Top 3 for the first time after their stunning 11/2 win over champions Man City. Three Premier League sides now have treble-figure profits, no other league can match that.
Manchester City move into negative figures in 10th, while Newcastle have gone from bottom to 12th in the space of a fortnight after two wins on the bounce.
Championship
We have new leaders in the Championship as Charlton hit the top after their midweek win over Bolton. The big movers are Blackburn, who jump from 15th to fifth after two wins since last Monday’s update. Bournemouth are plotting a similar course with an eight-place jump in 6th.
Wigan climb up to 20th from bottom after their 4/1 win in Derby, while Brighton drop to the foot after a loss number in treble figures!
League One
Bristol City’s long run at the top of the League One P&L table has come to an end after a £20 loss in the last week. The new leaders are Rochdale after two odds-against wins in the seven days. Keith Hill’s side have romped clear by over £30.
Notts County have moved from 13th to fifth after two wins in a week, Crewe’s rise continues (now seventh) while Walsall stay bottom.
League Two
Morecambe remain top despite two defeats in a week but it’s Luton and Exeter who really catch the eye. Luton are now up to second after two wins since the last update while Exeter have left the bottom half and moved up to fourth after similar form.
More doom and gloom for York who stay bottom and are now the most expensive side to follow in England with a negative figure of £108.
SPFL Premiership
Hamilton remain the most profitable side in the UK despite flopping at odds of 8/5 on Saturday. Inverness have joined them on a treble-figure profit after a 6/4 win against Dundee Utd.
Celtic move up from 10th to seventh after beating Kilmarnock at 1/4, but they remain in negative figures.
SFL Championship
Hearts stay a phenomenal £61 ahead of the rest in the second-tier despite failing to beat Edinburgh rivals Hibs at the weekend.
Seven of the 10 sides in this division have loss figures next to their name with Livingston bottom of the pile with a £72.70 deficit.
SFL League One
Morton move up to second after their excellent 14/5 win over Dunfermline on Saturday.
Stirling Albion are now £45 adrift at the bottom of the table after drawing with Airdrie.
SFL League Two
At last Arbroath are finally top of the League 2 P&L table after two wins in the last week. Their 90% win rate is the best in the UK.
Berwick Rangers have dropped to the foot of the table after previous incumbents Annan Athletic beat East Stirling at odds of 8/13.
La Liga
Real Madrid’s Clasico victory saw punters collect at 7/5 but the win also lifted Los Blancos into a positive profit figure for the first time since the opening weekend – Real jumped from 13th into seventh-place in the P&L table.
Meanwhile, Sevilla’s (23/20) late show against Villarreal saw Unai Emery’s team take over at the top of the P&L table for the first time this season.
Bundesliga
Dortmund’s awful recent run continued on Saturday as they were upset by 12/1 shots Hannover. The win propelled Hannover £80+ clear of their nearest rivals having started the weekend in 10th-place.
Bayern Munich’s 0-0 draw at Gladbach left the defending champions floundering in the bottom-half with a negative margin, alongside Dortmund.
Serie A
Sassuolo (4/1) were the big winners in Serie A, collecting maximum points from their basement battle at Parma. It was the visitors’ first league win of the season and moves them off the bottom in 14th.
Udinese (10/11) hold onto top spot after their Sunday win over Atalanta but Cagliari (11/4) storm into second from ninth and Genoa (21/10) are up fifth from 10-place after solid victories.
Ligue 1
Lens’ 7/1 win on Friday saw the newly-promoted club take the ‘biggest weekend winners’ gong and lifted the northerners up to second from 12th. It wasn’t enough to stop Nice who claimed a 13/5 victory at Guingamp to take top spot for the first time this season.
Elsewhere, there are 13 teams in France to put you in profit but PSG aren’t one of them. Laurent Blanc’s men squeezed off the bottom of the table but are unlikely to break-even anytime soon.
