AFTER a winning debut last night Alex Buffett (@alexbuffett33) is pumped for more NBA action.
Miami Heat @ Orland Magic | Thursday 00:05
The Miami Heat take on the Orlando Magic at the Amway Center early on Thursday and it appears even the bookies cant decide who the real favourites are giving Orlando just a +2.5 points advantage.
Orlando have won three straight coming into this match, however they are currently ranked 13th in the weak Eastern Conference and it appears very unlikely that they’ll make the play-offs this year.
Miami star player Chris Bosh is still hospitalized with blood clots in his lungs which should keep him out for the entire season and is no doubt a huge loss for the 7th seed Miami Heat.
Despite the loss of Bosh, Miami can and will win tonight covering the 2.5 points spread as I expect a big game from new PG Goran Dragić & future hall of famer Dwyane Wade, followed by a celebratory trip to Disneyland!
LA Clippers @ Houston Rockets | Thursday 01:05
A much tougher and closer match up in the Western Conference awaits us here. The LA Clippers travel to Houston to take on the third seed Rockets with superstar James Harden, my current MVP for the season.
The Rockets are 20-8 at home, playing great team basketball and mainly trusting the “Beard” to do the business in the 4th Q and get them the W.
The Clippers are up and down this season, currently ranked in 6th place and will be without Blake Griffin tonight. Despite Houston being -3.5 point favourites I am rolling with Lob City.
The rebounding beast DeAndre Jordan is going to have a monster game and Chris Paul and Jamal Crawford will score the points to give LA a road victory over the Rockets. Do not fear the Beard!
