Mr Fixit’s Scottish Football Tips | 21st February 2015

WE’VE pulled off another coup with the signing of the famous Mr Fixit, tipster at Scotland’s Daily Record for almost 20 years. MrF will sharing his best Scottish tips with us each week so give him a warm welcome guys.

The boys here at WeLoveBetting barely need any help to bash the bookies but they’ve invited me to contribute a weekly Scottish treble to the site. I’m a big fan of the site and it’s a real privilege to be asked so fingers crossed I can add a few winners to the mix.

Aberdeen v St Mirren | Saturday 15.00

Belief has returned to Pittodrie this season and Derek McInnes has worked wonders to build a squad that is still hanging on to the coat-tails of Celtic at the top of the table. The two sides meet next Sunday in a clash that will go along away to determining the outcome of the title. That means its crucial the Dons see off St Mirren and I’m backing them to do that quite comfortably.

St Mirren have failed to score in four of their last five top-flight visits to Aberdeen and after a 3-0 win at Hamilton last week it could pay to side with the Dons to win ‘to nil’ again at 11/10 (BetVictor).

At 4/11 to win outright you won’t make much by backing them on their own but they’ll make a decent first pick for this week’s treble.

Inverness v Kilmarnock | Saturday 15.00

Inverness have won five of the last six and still harbour ambitions of overtaking fellow northerners Aberdeen in second place in the table. Many expected them to flounder with the loss of Billy McKay but they don’t look like going away anytime soon.

They host a Kille side that’s claimed just five points from a possible 21 in their last seven away fixtures so with home advantage, and by frankly being a better team, I’m happy to add Caley Thistle as the second selection in the treble at 8/13 with Ladbrokes.

For longer odds, have a look at Inverness to win and Both Teams To Score. Goals for both sides have been a regualr feature in this fixture so as long as John Hughes deliver the win there could be more value in this combined bet which is available at 13/10 with 888Sport.

Hibernian v Dumbarton | Saturday 15.00

The Hibees appear to have put some indifferent early season form behind them and now are really motoring. Last week’s win at Ibrox saw them overtake Rangers in to second place and they should do so again today, following Rangers’ win at Raith Rovers on Friday.

At 1/4 they’re too short even to be adding in to the treble so looking elsewhere I think they’ll score a few goals in this one. We can eke out more value from the match by backing Hibs to win and there to be Over 2.5 Goals in the match at 8/13 with Paddy Power.

If you’d like to squeeze some bigger odds out of the game then look for the Edinburgh side to Score In Both Halves at 4/6 with BetBright.
