FC Dallas v New York Red Bulls | Saturday 11th May 2019, 19:00
Dallas host the New York Red Bulls on Saturday night in a game that should be a great watch.
Dallas come into this unbeaten at home (W3-D2-L0). Their home form is the main reason that they’re sitting in fifth in the Western Conference. Away it’s been a bit more hit-and-miss with three defeats so this fixture is another chance for the hosts to keep that home record rolling by recording another three points.
The Red Bulls are having a poor campaign by their usual high standards. The Big Apple club start this weekend 10th in the Eastern Conference and have earned just the two points on the road; I don’t see how that will change this weekend as they head to Texas having W0-D2-L2 outside of New York.
I’ll keep this one brief as I’m fairly confident in the two picks I’ve selected; Dallas are solid at home and hosting a Red Bulls side that haven’t been firing at all this term, especially on the road. There’s not many tougher places than Dallas to go in MLS and I anticipate an easy Dallas victory.
