CHAMPIONS Manchester City welcome Newcastle to the Etihad on Saturday evening. Gaurav Chaddah (@Gchaddahjourno) picks out his best bets.

The late kick-off on Saturday evening is at the Ethiad as Manchester City welcome Newcastle.
On paper this looks a very one-sided contest, as City look to resume winning ways whilst Newcastle are still searching for their first victory.
Man City
Pep Guardiola would have been frustrated that his Man City side have already dropped points after last week’s 1-1 draw away at Wolves.
Whilst the newly-promoted did ride their luck at times, they did show the champions aren’t unplayable.
Guardiola would expect his side to get back to winning ways here.
Newcastle
Things got from bad to worse for Newcastle on Wednesday night as they went down 3-1 to Championship side Nottingham Forest in the League Cup, after looking like a late Solamon Rondon goal earned the Magpies a penalty shootout.
It has been an extremely difficult start to the season for Rafa Benitez’s men, only gaining one point so far and things don’t get any easier here as they travel to the champions.
The betting angle
The Citizens are extremely short priced here. At any point in the season this would be almost an impossible task for Newcastle but the current form they are in you would say this is the impossible task.
Newcastle, however have been known to frustrate the bigger sides and through a discliplined set up are often able to limit the damage against the better sides.
A prime example of this is when City edged out a 1-0 win in this fixture last season and was also evident as Newcastle went down 2-1 against Chelsea last week.
I don’t see City getting the easiness they enjoyed last time at the Ethiad against Huddersfield, I’d expect Benitez to set up to make things difficult and with SkyBet offering a very nice 11/10, Manchester City to win and Under 3.5 Goals seems a very good play, to me.
