ALEX JONES (@AlexJ0nes9) analyses the odds as Leicester take on Fulham in the Premier League on Monday evening.

Leicester welcome Fulham to the King Power Stadium on Monday evening as Fulham go in search of their first away win of the campaign. The bookies don’t fancy them to do so though as they are going off at a huge 11/2 to be victorious. Only Sheffield United have collected fewer away points so far this season.
Leicester have won two of their four Premier League home games, marginally beating Wolves last time out. They had a great record at home last season only losing four games, with three of them to the established Big Six. They have already lost half that amount though after getting hammered by West Ham and then against Aston Villa.
Leicester have averaged the sixth fewest shots per-game average this term with just 9.8 and have struggled to create much. That said, they have been without James Maddison for the majority of this season, but he seems to be almost back at full fitness now. He is pivotal to the way The Foxes play and was influential in their win over Arsenal before the last international break and has looked good in the Europa League.
Fulham have been on the wrong end of some tight games away from Craven Cottage, with all of their losses coming by a singular goal. Three of their four games have seen fewer than three goals scored.
I do think Leicester will take the victory here and I fancy them to score a few too. They have scored at least two goals in five of their last six against Fulham in the Premier League, and with Fulham losing 18 of their 21 away matches in the top-tier over their last few seasons, I’m happy to oppose The Cottagers.
I was tempted by the -1 handicap for Leicester at 6/4 but given Fulham have only been defeated narrowly I’ll take the extra safety with –1 Asian Handicap at 49/50 with Bet365. So, if Leicester win by two we win our bet, if they only win by one then we get a refunded stake. If Leicester fail to win, we lose.
The Foxes have been better of late after a sluggish start to the season and with players starting to return from injuries in the near future the only way is up for Leicester. Their record against promoted sides last season was W4-D1-L1, beating two of the three promoted sides at the King Power by at least two goals.
Fulham desperately need the points, but they should be punished by a prolific Foxes side, especially if Harvey Barnes and James Maddison support Jamie Vardy up front. They are projected to start and that would be a huge boost for this bet.
I’ll chuck in Maddison to hit the target at 6/5 with Betfair which is more than fair. Maddison has an eye for goal and plays in the pocket behind Vardy, where space may open up for him to shoot. He’ll be on free kicks, too, if he plays. Fulham have conceded 7, 5, 6 and 7 shots on target in their four away games, and I wouldn’t bet against Maddison being one of the men to trouble Alphonse Areola.
Finally, if you’re a card backer, you might be interested to know that this fixture sees the two most ill-disciplined teams go head-to-head, with Leicester seeing 21 yellow cards, compared to Fulham collecting 20 yellows and 1 red card so far. In just nine games, both sides are averaging over two per game which is some going.
