CHELSEA travel to Leicester City on Sunday for an FA Cup quarter-final showdown. Tom Love (@TomLove_18) shares his thoughts on the encounter.

Two teams gunning for top four places face-off at the King Power on Sunday afternoon but this time both are going for an FA Cup trophy. Chelsea were excellent against Manchester City and I thought they deserved to win, more than matching them in all areas. That will give them great belief coming into this.
Frank Lampard has a myriad of options at his disposal and we could see the likes of Billy Gilmour, Emerson and Tammy Abraham return to the starting line up in order to freshen up his side. It’s admirable strength in depth considering the blues were unable to do anything in the transfer market in the last year.
Leicester have underwhelmed since the restart, being lucky to get a couple of draws against bottom half sides Watford and Brighton. The Foxes lost the Expected Goals (xG) battle in both those games and it’s in keeping with their decline in performances since the turn of the year. Jamie Vardy hasn’t really had a sniff and I expect Kelechi Iheanacho to be involved here to give them more of a goal threat.
As far as the betting goes, Chelsea are slight favourites at 6/4 and I think that’s fair. But with a lot of unknowns on team news I’m happy to swerve the 1X2 market here. I do think it’ll be quite tight though and a relatively even game, so I’ll dive into the BetBuilder market on Bet365.
The angle I like is for Each Team Over 0 Cards, Each Team Over 2 Corners and Under 5 Goals in the game. That comes in at 4/5 (Bet365) and looks a worthy play in my eyes.
Chelsea haven’t been involved in outrageously goal-laden games compared to the start of the season and Leicester have largely being good at the back and with it being a high stakes quarter final I’m not envisaging a goal fest.
Both average around five corners given respective home/away records and plenty of players like a pop from distance which leads to corners. Finally, it’s a big game and with Mike Dean having the whistle you’ve got to fancy a few cards.
