THE CHAMPIONS LEAGUE continues on Wednesday night as Manchester United travel to Turin to face Juventus. Daniel McCulloch (@DMcCulloch1984) shares his betting thoughts.

Sometimes you make a prediction and spend 90 minutes in complete frustration as the game has panned out exactly how you expected but the result has not gone your way; other times you wonder what the hell you were thinking and the latter was the case when these two met a fortnight ago.
I didn’t expect Manchester United to look quite so inadequate as they did in Old Trafford but the one-goal margin of defeat really flattered them as they were second best throughout.
All that said, I remain unconvinced by Juventus. Clearly they are the best side in Serie A but that competition is not producing sides of the calibre of yesteryear. They are a very decent and well-drilled team but I don’t see them as legitimate third favourites for this title. They are 6/1 to win it, with Liverpool and Bayern and 9s and I would back either of those sides to beat Juventus over two legs.
The Turin side have conceded in four of their six home league games this term. Sassuolo, Genoa and Cagliari have all scored at the Allianz Stadium this season so I see no reason why Manchester United can’t score here.
For all their troubles this season, the Red Devils have failed to score in just three competitive games – against Juventus, Valencia and Tottenham. They created numerous chances against the latter two so it’s only real the home leg here that concerns me with this bet.
Ultimately, I believe that Massimiliano Allegri’s team will probably have too much for United and couldn’t put anyone off a Juventus win and both sides finding the net, but I will keep it simple and just worry about the two sides scoring. All things considered Both Teams To Score is simply too big at evens (Ladbrokes).
Elsewhere, I also like the look of Anthony Martial to score anytime at 9/2 with Paddy Power. The Frenchman has scored four goals in his last three league games and offered what little threat United posed in the reverse fixture. His pace can trouble the Juve backline and this is also worth a small play in my opinion.
