OUR resident racing man Graeme Johnston (@GraemeJ_83) picks out his best bets from Saturday’s cards.

A six furlong Listed race for juveniles and this looks a good little race. 13 previous winners line up and there is one in here at a decent price that I like the look of here.

Sir Dancealot won twice on the all weather before stepping up to Group level where he ran with credit in third to Larchmont Lad. He is a talented colt and deserves his place at the head of the market however this looks a good renewal and I’m looking elsewhere for my selection today.

Perfect Angel is another progressive young filly and she was last seen chasing home the impressive Harry Angel in the Mill Reef. However she was well and truly put in her place here and I think she may struggle to get her head in front here.

The one I really like here is the unbeaten Karl Burke inmate Lost at Sea. He won his debut in good style at Doncaster and that was a good race taking on previous winners and he is clearly above average. He looked green that day so there is improvement in him and if he progresses like I expect he will go very close here. He is a very backable price in this and I will be backing him to win this.

The Wetherbys Hamilton Handicap Hurdle over 2 miles for 4 year olds sees a field of seven line up and it looks a decent little race. Runners who lined up in the big Grade 1 hurdles come up against some progressive young horses and it’s sure to throw up plenty of future winners.

Gibralfaro looked a top class juvenile early last season winning his first two starts until he was a disappointment in the Adonis, when as even money favourite he never threatened.

He then ran in the Triumph Hurdle where he was never competitive however he remains unexposed and of interest this season. He is a danger here however I want to see what he does here before backing him again.

El Terremoto makes his UK debut here for the Twiston-Davies yard and looks an interesting recruit for the stable. A seven race maiden he looks sure to win races, however he has never experienced ground this quick and to break his duck on quicker ground in a strong race would take some performance. He’s a watching brief for me today.

The one I like here is the Paul Nichols trained Diego Du Charmil. A winner of the Fred Winter on his debut for the stable he was put in his place by Apple Jade at Aintree but I don’t think that is reliable from a form perspective. He is unexposed and comes in to this off a lower mark than his previous win. The stable is flying and I think he will win this before going on to bigger things.

Best Bets

15:10 York – Lost At Sea to win (10/1 Bet365)

15:50 Chepstow – Diego Du Charmil to win (15/8 Stan James)
