Last Surprise has the best form in the race for Simon Crisford on the all-weather, boasting a two out of two success rate so far. She ran in a class 2 nursery contest at Newmarket last time out, finishing third but kept on really well at the end. The second placed horse in that race has since finished third in a Group 3, so her form has been slightly franked by this.
She proved her stamina this day over 7f, that’s now not an issue at all. She’s a handy draw here also in stall four, which should come as an advantage on this course.
Last Surprise comes into this race one pound better off than her last success due to Megan Nicholls’ three pound claimer, which stands her in great stead to get back to winning ways.
