The Bairns’ brand of high-energy pressing football is reaping dividends just now and last week’s 3-0 win at Dumbarton was some of the best football they’ve played this season. Two weeks before that they beat in-form Hibs at the Falkirk Stadium and Peter Houston’s men look to be mounting a serious play-off challenge.
Falkirk have only been beating by Rangers and Hearts on home turf this season, so this looks a tall order for Rovers.
Grant Murray’s side haven’t won away in the league since September 20th and I just can’t see that being overturned here. In recent weeks they’ve lost to Dumbarton and shockingly lost 5-1 to struggling Livingston. The signs aren’t good. Falkirk are 7/10 to win this match, which looks a decent price, but I need to find something bigger than that. With that in mind, I’ll be brave and grab the 9/5 with Paddy Power that the Bairns win by more than one goal.
