Euro U21 Tips | Portugal U21 v Sweden U21 | 24th June 2015 | BT Sport 2

PORTUGAL look to win Euro Under 21 Group B on Wednesday when they take on Sweden. We asked Chris Graham (@chrisgraham79) for his best bets.

Portugal U21 v Sweden U21 | Wednesday 19:45 | BT Sport 2

It’s advantage Portugal in this Group B finale on Wednesday. With four points under their belt they head into the final fixtures top of the group and even a defeat could still see them through to the semi-finals.

Sweden were excellent against Italy last midweek and picked up three precious points. They offered little on Sunday against England and finally succumbed to an 85th minute goal by Gareth Southgate’s side.

If England beat Italy in the other match in the group then Portugal need to win here to top the group and (more than likely) avoid Germany in the semi-finals. For Sweden a draw is the minimum requirement, and even then they’d need Italy to beat England to go through.

The bookmakers have Portugal at odds on here. Skybet are best price 5/6 and that’s probably a fair assessment of their chances. They deservedly beat England and managed to hold Italy at bay on Sunday.

The Swedes are as big as 4/1 with Betfair but it looks unlikely to cop. Whilst their win over Italy last week was impressive, the Italians looked off the pace and on Sunday they offered little against England.

I’ll back Under 2.5 Goals at 5/6 with Ladbrokes (Portugal haven’t conceded a goal yet in this tournament) and have a wee dabble on 0-0 at the chunky 10/1. Both sides have already fired blanks in the Czech Republic.
