For the second time in 72 hours I am writing about a game between these two teams, although I expect completely different sides.

Brighton made wholesale changes in their last match in this competition, an encounter with Championship outfit Preston last week, while Manchester United’s front six against Luton consisted of Fred, Nemanja Matic, Juan Mata, Donny van de Beek, Jesse Lingard and Odion Ighalo, which tells you all you need to know about their team!

United laboured for much of that tie and needed an excellent stop from Dean Henderson to deny The Hatters before goals from substitutes Marcus Rashford and Mason Greenwood gave them a flattering 3-0 victory.

My view here is that Brighton are great value at 9/4 with SkyBet in the Draw No Bet market. They completely outplayed United for large spells on Saturday – winning the shot count 8-7 – and also impressed me in victory at Newcastle and at home to Chelsea (although they also lost that one).

Under Graham Potter the performances have generally been better than the results but I believe that they are at a stage where they should be looking to do more than just survive in the Premier League. Indeed, while they made wholesale changes against Preston in the last round, I expect Potter to put out a stronger side here because his best team can outplay a far stronger United team than the one I expect.

Moreover, even if they do make several changes, the likes of Pascal Gros, Davy Propper and Alireza Jahanbaksh can still cause United plenty of problems.

I did consider Both Teams To Score as well but 8/11 is too skinny for me and I would instead look at the 1-1/2-1 correct scores at far bigger prices. I will hold off including them as an outright tip though and stick with The Seagulls in the Draw No Bet market.
