As you may have seen elsewhere I’m really keen on a booking angle in Spain on Sunday, but on top of that a game in Serie A really caught my eye.
The game between Sassuolo and Chievo won’t have many of you licking your lips but the fact that Michael Fabbri has the whistle as really got me excited.
Fabbri has averaged 7.5 cards per game in Serie A this year and has given a red in each of his last four matches so he is very consistent. Like so many of my bookings bets he’s a referee with limited top flight experience.
Sassuolo average a chunky 3.6 cards per game and Chievo 2.6 and in the corresponding fixtures between these two teams last year there were seven and eight cards issued so those are nice stats supporting my bet. I like the look of over 5.5 cards at 5/6 with Bet365.
