Albania make their major tournament debut against Switzerland in Group A on Saturday, with brothers Taulant and Granit Xhaka playing on opposite sides in Lens.
Albania have yet to win in six internationals against Switzerland (W0-D1-L5) with teams most recent encounters taking place in 2014 FIFA World Cup qualifying.
Gianni De Biasi’s Albania were beaten 2-0 in Lucerne and 2-1 in Tirana to a Swiss side led by Ottmar Hitzfeld at the time. Xherdan Shaqiri, who has Kosovar-Albanian roots, scored for Switzerland in both matches.
