This looks as hard a fixture list in Spain as I can remember. One fixture which catches the eye though is Espanyol’s visit to Valencia.
Both teams are in shocking form. This game shouldn’t be for the faint hearted. As bad as Valencia have been I think Gary Neville gets his first La Liga victory here because Espanyol are dire.
The last three meetings between these two teams have had very high card counts reading 12-10-8. Carlos Grande is a middle of the road referee who will have his work cut out here.
