A London match-up is the main game of the weekend as Arsenal take on Chelsea. It’s hard to have any faith in the Gunners these days – they’re just too unreliable and soft to back.
Mikel Arteta has finally taken the reigns at the Emirates and I’d describe his opening result as disappointing. Bournemouth are one of the most beatable teams in the league for my money and Arsenal couldn’t put them away. There’s zero chance that I can back the Gunners in their current guise.
Chelsea have been refreshing, especially on the road. Frank Lampard’s charges seem to thrive with the pressure off them and that’s born out in their results. However, their defence still leaves a lot to be desired when looking at their clean sheet record this term. To be fair, they were excellent in a back three at Spurs last week and it could well be an interesting formation to use in the future now Antonio Rudiger is back.
The betting angles
It’s a hard one to call on the outrights but I do think we should see an entertaining game here and the 10/11 offering from SkyBet on Over 1.5 Goals, Both Teams 3+ Corners and 30+ Bookings Points looks a good way in.
There’s no love lost between the pair and I could see a few feisty challenges going in. Therefore, the 27/20 on both teams picking up Over 1.5 Cards has to make a great deal of appeal.
