ANOTHER busy day in the Premier League. Can Chris Graham (@chrisgraham79) land more winners for us?
QPR v Crystal Palace | Sunday 15:00
Ah well, this is getting boring now isn’t it? Me typing away telling you how much I fancy QPR to win at home? Me blathering on about how the bookmakers have got Harry Redknapp’s side at the wrong price? Yeah, well here we are again folks.
It is hard to understand why a team can be so poor on their travels, yet so much better at home, I can’t work it out with QPR. But as long as they winning when I back them at home then I won’t stop. 7/5 with BetVictor (backed in overnight) still looks an appealing price.
The R’s are up in eighth on the Home Table, after four wins in their last five Loftus Road encounters. The non-win was a superb draw against the champions Manchester City.
Their striker Charlie Austin just can’t stop scoring at the moment and is just two goals off the pace in the Premier League scoring charts. The former Burnley man has scored 12 goals this campaign, and with him in your armoury you’ve got every chance.
As for Crystal Palace, it’s Keith Millen who takes charge again after Neil Warnock was shown the door after their Boxing Day loss to Southampton.
I’m always reluctant to back against sides who’ve just had a managerial change, but as admirable as Millen is, turning this ship round looks beyond him. Palace have won just one of their last 12 matches.
West Ham v Arsenal | Sunday 15:00
West Ham look a big price here at home to Arsenal. On what they’ve achieved this season the 5/2 with Betfred looks particularly big.
The Hammers have lost just twice in their last 12 matches and sit above Arsenal in fifth place. Their record at Upton Park is even more impressive with six wins from their last seven encounters.
In that run, Man City, Liverpool, high-flying Swansea and peak-form Newcastle have all been taken out so it’s astonishingly impressive form.
Arsenal look like a slightly-worse version of Arsenal this season. Bumbling along, beating the smaller sides and failing to beat the big sides. They look destined to finish in the Top 4 again, but still leave their fans frustrated.
They’ve won just three of their nine away league matches this campaign, and all those came against sides struggling in the bottom of the table. Defeats have come at Chelsea, Swansea and Stoke, and I think we’ll be adding West Ham to that list after today.
This is a big moment for Sam Allardyce’s men and a real chance for them to bolster their European hopes. The 5/2 with Betfred is something I’ll be getting involved with.
