Minnesota Vikings @ Chicago Bears | Tuesday 17th November 2020, 01:15 | Sky Sports
Two divisional foes trending in opposite directions for this week’s Monday night game, with the Vikings heading to Chicago to face the Bears. Minnesota have won two straight, including against the division-leading Packers, whereas Chicago, after a 5 – 1 start, have now lost three in a row.
The driving force behind Minnesota’s form coming out of their bye week has been Dalvin Cook, who has exploded in the Vikings’ two games since the bye, going off for a whopping 478 total yards (369 on the ground and 109 through the air) and 6 TDs. Cook has form for this sort of scoring, having scored in every single game he’s played this season, but 6 is a mad total for just two games.
Chicago’s defence isn’t bad at all and is the main reason that they’ve won as many games as they have so far, but it would take a massive effort for the 14th ranked run defence to stop Cook when he’s in this sort of form. To that end I’ll be backing Cook to go over 107.5 rushing and receiving yards. I couldn’t put anyone off just taking the rushing line, but I like Cook catching passes out of the backfield adding to the total.
In addition, given that the passing attempts line for Bears QB Nick Foles is still strangely low (as mentioned on a previous MNF article) I’ll be having a bit on the over 36.5 attempts. Foles has gone over that total in every single game he’s started.
