My selection this weekend comes from Scotland’s League One.
Falkirk sit in second, one point behind leaders Raith, and travel to face bottom side Stranraer on Saturday.
Falkirk are nine games unbeaten and are starting to show why they are favourites to take top honours in the third tier – they are the highest scorers and have the best defensive record in the division.
The Bairns hit six past Forfar in their last league outing and knocked out Championship side Abroath in midweek to progress in the Scottish Cup.
Stranraer are starting to get cut adrift at the bottom, six points from their nearest rivals, and so I’m Falkirk to cover the -1 handicap (11/10 Betfair) as I feel they will have too much for a poor Blues team who haven’t won for nine league games.
