My selection this weekend comes from the Scottish Premiership as in-form Motherwell host struggling Hearts.

Motherwell have been in fine form this season and made it back-to-back victories on Wednesday night after overcoming St Mirren 3-0. The Well’s win moved them to within a point of third-placed Aberdeen and it now looks like a two-horse race between the pair to be crowned Best Of The Rest.

Hearts, on the other hand, picked up a late point at home to Livingston, which moved them a point above rock-bottom. The Jambos have only won two of their 15 league games so far this season.

Craig Levein was sacked a month ago and the capital club are yet to appoint a new manager, so it’ll be Austin MacPhee in charge again and you can see it really starting to hurt Hearts.

Motherwell (13/10 Sportingbet) have scored seven goals without reply in their last two games and will fancy their chances of making it three wins in a row against their low-confidence visitors.
