Asian Handicap Tips | 18th October 2014

Please welcome @DarkDyson to the WeLoveBetting team. He did some audio for us 18 months ago but now he’s committed to sharing his knowledge of Asian Handicap betting with us. He’s kicked-off with three Premier League bets for Saturday:

Crystal Palace v Chelsea | Saturday 15:00

Palace have coped admirably with the loss of saviour Tony Pulis and will be fired up for this weekend’s London derby. They famously beat Chelsea at home last season and drew with both Everton and Liverpool, coming back from 3-0 down against the latter at Selhurst Park.

I think Palace are definitely capable of being competitive in this fixture and at +1.25 the price (17/20 Bet365) is just too big to miss. The Eagles currently sit fourth on WeLoveBetting’s Premier League Profit & Loss table and I’m happy to take a chance on them keeping it close. Half my stake goes on them with a goal start and the other half on at +1.5.

Everton v Aston Villa | Saturday 15:00

Again this price on the visitors +1 (9/10 BetVictor)  is simply too big. Villa might be on a three-game losing streak but considering who they’ve had to play against, it’s no shock. Both Ron Vlaar and Christian Benteke could start, which softens the blow of Fabian Delph’s likely absence.

Everton are conceding goals for fun and sit bottom of the Home Table, while Villa have won 1-0 at both Stoke & Liverpool this season. Hopefully, that trend continues on Saturday. I’ll take Villa with a goal start, meaning I’ll get my stake back if they lose by the odd goal.

Southampton v Sunderland | Saturday 15:00

Saints have surprised everyone with how well they’ve coped after selling most of their best players from last season, while Sunderland’s season only really came to life when they beat Stoke last time out.

However, Gus Poyet’s men have only been beaten once and haven’t lost to Saints since they returned to the top flight in 2012. Both of these sides defend well and a fourth consecutive draw would be no shock. So with that in mind I’m happy to take Sunderland with a half-goal start (57/40 Bet365).

Best Bets

Crystal Palace v Chelsea – Crystal Palace +1.25 Asian Handicap (17/20 Bet 365)

Everton v Aston Villa – Aston Villa +1 Asian Handicap (9/10 BetVictor)

Southampton V Sunderland – Sunderland +0.5 Asian Handicap (57/40 Bet 365)
