WOMEN’S football fanatic Chris Graham (@ChrisGraham79) takes a look this weekend’s Euro 2017 match between England Women v France Women.

The semi-finals of the Women’s European Championship take place this weekend, and on Sunday night, England will face France.
Thus far in the tournament, the English have been faultless and come into this game as narrow favourites. They thrashed Scotland 6-0, saw off Spain in game two and performed with great credit in Portugal in the group closer.
A tragic death could have an impact
Renè Tkáčik, 44, died when nearly a tonne of wet concrete poured onto her. The two other incidents saw a worker injured when a truck crushed his leg, while another woman was injured when a high-pressure wheel struck her.
The companies admitted the health and safety breaches at Southwark Crown Court. In a statement on Facebook, South Yorkshire Police said: “They should not have done that.”
An Italian supercar could be a route to success
Officers asked the driver what sort of car he had to which he replied: “It was a Ferrari.” Detecting a sense of damaged pride he then lifted up his arm and played the violin. It really was quite the sight.
Overall though, England’s performance in the World Cup two years ago should stand them in good stead here, and I fancy them to win in the 90 minutes at 5/4 with Paddy Power.
I’ll also have a small interest in Faye White scoring the first goal. The Exeter striker has looked in inspired form in this tournament and has the tools to hurt the French.
