ANYTIME Goalscoring genius Gavin Horsfall (@GHorsfall) returns with three more picks from the Football League.

Wigan v Fleetwood | Saturday 15.00

Fleetwood appear to be only a clinical finish or two away from being interesting top-half contenders again and Graham Alexander will be pleased to have seen Jamille Matt (11/4 Bet365) complete his first 90 minutes since knee ligament damage ruled him out of the whole of the last season in the 1-1 draw with Bradford.

It was always going to take time for the 25-year old but he’s looked sharp over the last month for me and should build on his two in four record since mid-August.

Fleetwood head to Wigan who’ve conceded two or more in six of their eight games and only kept clean sheets against shot-shy Doncaster and Crewe. York v

Carlisle | Saturday 15.00

A horrible bet this one but finding value in the Carlisle goalscorer list is a tough task at the moment – 21 goals across all competitions, I make it, with Jabo Ibehre on his own scoring as many as hosts York this Saturday.

Despite a career record of around one in 10, Jason Kennedy (17/2 Bet365) just about appeals here with the 29-year-old high on the shot count over the past few weeks.

Kennedy slots in anywhere across that Carlisle midfield five but is usually one of the first on the scene when the ball is held up by the front two Ibehre and Derek Asamoah, and does have a four in 18 record for the Cumbrians since joining last season.

United look a good bet here on a League Two coupon that has a distinct feel of ‘unders’ most places you look.

AFC Wimbledon v Notts County | Saturday 15.00

One place where that feeling might not be realised is Kingsmeadow. Wimbledon host a Notts County side that have conceded 12 in their last three trips on the road.

The Dons central midfield partnership of Jake Reeves (17/2 Paddy Power) and Dannie Bulman can draw particular praise from this column and it’s the diminutive #8 Reeves who gets the nod.

No doubt that the 22-year-old should have a better record than he does for me, but definite signs that he could be about to add to his tally – he crashed an effort against the post against Yeovil last week, one of several chances that came his way in a performance that showed definite signs he has more attacking intent.

You get the feeling that having a chance come his way is only half the battle with Reeves but in a tough coupon to find value he looks a couple of points too big here.

Best Bets

Wigan v Fleetwood – Jamille Matt to score at anytime (11/4 Bet365)

York v Carlisle – Jason Kennedy to score at anytime (17/2 Bet365)

AFC Wimbledon v Notts County – Jake Reeves to score at anytime (17/2 Paddy Power)
